The client wanted a data-backed LinkedIn content creation system that could automatically discover high-performing posts, analyze creator patterns, and generate algorithm-optimized LinkedIn posts designed to increase reach and engagement. The objective was to automate content ideation, competitive analysis, and post creation while aligning outputs with LinkedIn’s engagement signals.

Creating effective LinkedIn content manually was slow and unreliable: Identifying high-performing posts required hours of manual research Reverse-engineering why posts performed well was difficult Image-based posts were hard to analyze consistently Content ideas were often based on guesswork rather than data Scaling content creation led to quality drops The client needed a repeatable, insight-driven system that removed guesswork and consistently produced high-quality posts.
Goal
I built a comprehensive LinkedIn Content Creation System using n8n that automates discovery, analysis, generation, and refinement of LinkedIn posts. Workflow Overview: Keyword-Driven Post Discovery: User provides a target keyword or topic. Apify searches LinkedIn for top-performing posts related to the keyword. Top Creator Extraction: The system identifies creators behind high-engagement posts. Extracts additional posts from these creators to detect patterns. Post & Image Analysis: Each post is analyzed for: Hook structure Post length Formatting style CTA placement If a post contains an image, the image is analyzed for: Visual composition Content type (educational, storytelling, data-driven, etc.) AI-Generated Draft Posts: Based on insights, ChatGPT APIs generate 3 draft LinkedIn posts aligned with: Discovered engagement patterns Proven creator styles Draft Storage & Tracking Generated posts are saved in Google Sheets for review and iteration. Supporting research is stored in Google Drive. Final Algorithm-Optimized Refinement: The system selects and refines the best draft into a final LinkedIn post, optimized for: Strong opening hook White-space formatting Engagement prompts LinkedIn feed behavior
